Suni is a registered Architect in Brazil, and currently holds the role of Junior Architectural Technician and resident BIM Leader at Cooper Rankin Architecture. When she realized what a big impact architects can have on people’s daily lives, she knew this was what she wanted to pursue. Her desire to improve people’s lives fuels her work and encourages her to influence others. Suni’s passion in architecture revolves around computer generated drawings and producing them quickly, efficiently, and in a highly informative manner. After graduating from Architecture, she pursued a post-graduate degree in BIM Management, giving her a strong skill set in both production and management of drawings, and models.
ARCHITECT SHE WOULD LIKE TO WORK WITH
Although a controversial architect, she believes Santiago Calatrava to have a unique style in the way that he mixes architecture and movement, and engines.
Culture is important to Suni and it happens to be what she loves about her hometown of Belem, Brazil. Her favourite city in the country? Curitiba, “because it was a planned city, designed to be used and enjoyed”.
FAVOURITE BUILDING MATERIAL
Wood. She finds it “impressive the variety of use wood can have and how it can be subjected to numerous situations and have immense strength”
